- If you’re running Big Sur as a guest in a VMware Fusion 11.5.7 virtual machine, updates haven’t been showing up in the Software Update preference pane. I had to download the full 11.2 installer from the App Store to go from 11.1 to 11.2, and there is no directly downloadable 11.2.1 updater yet, so I’m out of luck.
